Internship in UI/UX Design for Mobile Apps (all genders)

Your Mission

Our mission in the Mobile Solutions unit is to captivate our Mercedes-Benz users by delivering outstanding mobile experiences and innovative products for the present and future.

We are looking for an intern to join our Mobile Solutions unit, who will play a crucial role in our ongoing development and help us meet our high-quality standards. This individual will bring fresh, insightful perspectives and a commitment to technical and design excellence :

• Collaborate closely on a daily basis with our cross-functional mobile product teams for the Mercedes me App, including Product Owners, Developers, UI/UX Designers, and Testers.

• Participate in the creation of UX concepts in tight collaboration with all team members, ensuring the user experience is central to the development process.

• Assist in developing and refining a new Design System in Figma for our Mercedes-Benz Mobile Apps, establishing a cohesive and scalable foundation for our mobile user interfaces.

• Support the execution of user studies, gathering and integrating feedback directly from our customers into the product design, enhancing user satisfaction and engagement.
  

Your Profile

Currently enrolled in a degree program focused on design, human-computer interaction, or a related field

Experience

• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and methodologies for Mobile applications (Android and iOS).

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma.

• Previous experience in creating Design Systems or UI/UXDesign for Mobile Apps is highly desirable.

• Exposure to agile development processes and Scrum methodology.

Personal skills

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

• Independent, self-organized, and able to collaborate effectively.

• Adaptable, with a proactive approach to solving problems.

• Dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth.

Language skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of German is a plus.

Availability

• We apply a hybrid work model with flexible remote / on-site days. Availability in Berlin to meet up regularly with our teams on-site for Sprint ceremonies is required.

• Ability to commit to a longer duration throughout the calendar year is preferred, in compliance with German law.
