Job description

In your new role you will:

• Enhance and improve existing automation scripts within a professional SW development environment
• Use automation servers like Jenkins (primarily) and GitLab with build agents in and outside remote compute farms
• Support with pathfinding and exploration of different solutions to find the most suitable for every use-case
• Contribute to improve our development environment and flow

Duration: min. 6 months

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Basics about automation server, e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps
• Experience in Unix Shell-Script, e.g. tcsh, bash
• Experience using version control systems like git (primarily) and ClearCase
• Experience using Python (primarily), Groovy and Perl
• Basics in writing technical documents
• Pro-active communication skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf).
