The student, as part of the Finance Development (FD) team in Finance & Business Administration department, will be involved in project activities, particularly the digitalization (AI/ML) projects. In your new role you will:
- Work on specific digitalization projects that focus on Finance Controlling processes
- Explore and experiment on AI/ML or digitalization use cases in various digital platforms
- Be involved in the lifecycle of AI/ML model solution and visualization development and evaluate and discuss outcomes with the team
- Be involved in AI Process Ideation Workshop to foster innovative digitalization ideas for Finance community
- Capture business problems/needs into requirements that guide the building of an AI solution with close collaboration with the Data Scientists
- Perform research on AI model/algorithm to best solve the business problem statement and support the stakeholder on conceptualizing the solution
- Collaboration activities with IT and Data Scientists for Finance projects and topics
- Perform data extraction and/or data analysis to discover the useful information from large finance dataset
Internship learning outcomes:
- Good exposure and opportunity to apply academic knowledge on real life digitalization, data science solutions, business analytics, and automation initiative/project(s) in Finance
- Exposure to various opportunities to gain better insight on various controlling processes in Semiconductor industry
- Opportunity to work and interact with Finance Domain Experts, Technical Experts, and liked-minded team members who are passionate about digital transformation
- Opportunity to gain valuable presentation experience for project works with various stakeholders
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:
- Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Data Science or similar with sound knowledge on Mathematics and Statistics
- Meticulous & Inquisitive in nature
- High level of professional integrity and maturity
- Self-motivated personnel and a team player with the ability to work independently
- Flexibility on mobility for potential travel needs (if requested)
- Proficient in communication, AI algorithm and Analytic Model research, and problem-solving skills
- Resourceful in finding solution or knowledge on new tools
- Data Science skills
- Knowledge on data science, business analytics techniques, tool and context
- Knowledge on data analysis and AI/ML model and algorithm
- Knowledge on programming coding with python
