DHL SUPPLY CHAINFrance (2000 employees) a leader in logistics, is recruiting a logisticsengineer on a permanent contract.
Reporting to theDirector of Logistics Projects, your main responsibilities will include:
• Modeling scenariosof current and future operational solutions and presenting their benefits,costs, and advantages.
• Advisingoperational directors on new and innovative solutions: continuous improvement,zone reconfiguration, Lean tools deployment, redefinition of flows and workmethods within the warehouse, document development, team training.
• Designing logistics solutions andimplementation (external technical consultations if necessary).
• Developing thecommercial framework for the proposed solutions.
• Introducingindustrial techniques such as the method of standard times (MTM), sampling,work measurement.
• Working with thedesign office to support the implementation of solutions designed in complexprojects.
• Reengineering forexisting operations: proposing new solutions to adapt to changes in ourclients. • Monitoring client start-ups and proposing corrections if necessary.
Workplace: La PlaineSaint Denis (93) with travel throughout France for 30% of the time. 1 day oftelecommuting possible per week and depending on project periods.
Your profile:Logistics/Supply Chain engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years ofexperience in the logistics environment, particularly in warehousing services.Experience with engineering tools such as Value Stream mapping (a LeanManufacturing method for process mapping), work study methodology, etc.Results-oriented, performance-driven, committed, meticulous in file trackingand reporting, synthesis, analysis, conviction, customer-oriented/servicemindset, team spirit, influence.
