Then come and join our global team as Image Quality Specialist (f/m/d) for mobile C-arm systems to make a significant contribution to the satisfaction of our customers and the success of patient treatment.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You define requirements for the system specification for Image Quality and clarify the associated technical issues
  • You are responsible for Image Quality tests (physics and image processing), develop test concepts, create test specifications and carry out integration and system tests
  • You support our customers as well as our internal stakeholders in Image Quality (IQ) relevant challenges and questions
  • You ensure the optimization of the image chain (including simulation)
  • You work in an agile, cross-functional and international development team and collaborate with internal stakeholders from e.g. Research & Development, Customer Service and Manufacturing
  • You provide technical support for development projects at other international locations (China, India, Spain)

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have completed a Master's/Diploma degree in a physical/technical field (physics, electrical engineering, computer science, medical technology or similar) with several years of professional experience. A doctorate in this field would be advantageous
  • You have very good knowledge of medical imaging technology, X-ray physics and 2D/3D image processing
  • You have several years of experience in system engineering for medical imaging systems
  • You are familiar with the challenges in an interventional or surgical environment
  • You have basic knowledge of measurement technology and dosimetry


Your attributes and skills:

  • You have intercultural experience and are business fluent in English in order to be able to operate successfully in our international environment, good German language skills are an advantage
  • National and international business trips are a welcome change for you
  • You have excellent communication skills in order to be able to act professionally and goal-oriented with physicians and team colleagues
  • You convince with your analytical ability and manage to work out concrete solutions from fuzzy problem descriptions
  • You are characterized by a structured and goal-oriented way of working with a high degree of initiative and assertiveness as well as a strong customer orientation
  • It is easy for you to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools in the field of image processing, as well as with the challenges of a clinical environment
  • We learn passionately – You always keep up-to-date with current trends and potentials in medical imaging and constantly question our status quo
