Head of Accounting (m/f/d) (full-time)

to join their team.

The Berlin-based company strives for a"Teams first" hybrid-work-model dependent on projects and needs. Post-Pandemic: 2 office days per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the preparation of auditable monthly and annual financial statements including reporting
• Team management and mentoring, coordination and development of the entire accounting department
• Supervision of debitor/creditor/general ledger accounting and payroll accounting
• Implementation of communication guidelines
• Collaboration in the operative day-to-day business
• Continuous analysis, optimization, and monitoring of business processes
• Assessment of tax issues and support during tax audits

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training and ideally more than 8 years of relevant professional experience in accounting
• Strong Team leadership competence in an agile environment
• Several years of relevant professional experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
• Very good knowledge of accounting, tax law and reporting
• Confident appearance and diplomatic skills
• Hands-on mentality, strong problem-solving ability
• Very good command of German (C2) and business fluent in English
