The market for European Guarantees of Origin certificates (GoOs) for labeling electricity sources is very dynamic and growing. To account for this development, we established a central GoO trading desk in the Commercial Asset Optimisation area at RWE Supply & Trading. The mission is to manage the certificates for RWE’s assets as well as other counterparties and optimize the portfolio value. As GoO Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible to manage our position and trade on the GoO wholesale market!
- Become Portfolio Manager for GoOs
- Trade GoOs with a diverse group of internal and external market participants
- Manage the position for our Continental European portfolio
- Optimize the GoO value of RWE’s renewable and conventional assets as well as other counterparties
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with other functions in RWE Supply & Trading and the group
- Promote and foster a strong entrepreneurial and performance culture
- Confidently present and communicate insights to a wider range of stakeholders within RWE
Your powerful skills
- Excellent education in business administration, science, engineering or IT
- Several years of professional experience in commodity trading
- Experience with green certificates trading is advantageous
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proactive personality with the willingness to actively contribute
- Confident appearance with excellent presentation and communication skills
- English as a prerequisite, German or Dutch would be a plus, additional languages are welcome
