Grid Integration Engineer As Hybrid Specialist (M/F/D)

• Support and ease the selling of ENERCON wind turbines in the context of hybrid power plants
• Engage in customer discussions and work on project-specific solutions; identify which services and products the markets would need from ENERCON; identify which business case can work for the customers under which circumstances
• Contribute to the strategic orientation of ENERCON, regarding the services and products to be offered for hybrid power plants; propose it to the head of Grind Integration and head of TP
• Define the scope of ENERCON services and products in the context of hybrid power plants in stages; develop the ENERCON business model to support hybrid solutions by defining areas of direct contributions and building a network of external partners, to complement the remaining scope of work
• Set up a database and tools to keep track of hybrid project opportunities and categorize them; evaluate annually what kind of requests come in and how often, what are the key project features, which ones are promising, and why
• Support the GI and sales colleagues in all ENERCON regions with specific know-how about hybrids, offer trainings
• Contribute to public events and conferences about hybrids as ENERCON representative; influencing of stakeholders, rules and regulations internally and externally, to enable future business models

• Completed engineering studies with a focus on electrical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualification
• Understanding of power systems and energy markets
• Operations research
• Knowledge of business models and project-specific feasibility calculations
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage
• Very good presentation skills and strong communication skills
• Team orientation as well as a high level of commitment and an independent way of working
