You will be part of the team GO Vendor Risk, Process & Controls included in the Procurement Transformation department. This team is in charge of:

  • Defining and implementing Procurement policies & processes for GO (incl. S2C, Vendor Risks, Outsourcing, P2P)
  • Developing and maintaining the Go Vendor Risk framework (VRF) and leading vendor audits
  • Designing & executing internals controls
  • Leading remediations on audit issues
  • Producing GO reports (AOGS, ISAF…)
  • Driving transversal projects for GO Procurement or GO Projects as a division
  • Representing AXA GO Procurement in different forums

 

Job purpose

As a Vendor Risk Lead, your main objective is to review and implement a vendor management framework for AXA Group Operations and run all related activities to ensure risks are mitigated.

 

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

  • Be the Vendor Risk Key Business User (KBU) Manage all Vendor Risks with the different stakeholders by

    • Being the owner of the Vendor Risk process, developing and maintaining the Go Vendor Risk framework (VRF) based on Group guidelines (leading sourcing pipeline review meeting, Vendor Risk committee)

    • Having a role of Business Analyst by qualifying, centralizing, prioritizing user requests and mobilizing the right contacts (proc tools and IT product) in order to include them into current projects/tool developments. You classify and prioritize user requests to evolve the process and tools and is therefore the representative in front of the IT. You represent users in the study phase

    • defining the change management strategy and training users (key stakeholders and the GO Procurement community)

  • Contribute to the implementation of new regulations impacting GO procurement team notably when related to Vendor Risk Management DORA, you lead the procurement stream (design and implementation) as project manager

  • As project manager, you lead a new transformation project on Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)

o   Lead key milestones, deliverables and stakeholders’ engagement

o   Manage risks and raise key issues/alerts to the relevant governance

o   Ensure & coordinate communication between relevant stakeholders

o   Animate follow-up meetings with internal departments and if necessary GO local teams,

o   Defines & follow relevant KPI and dashboard to monitor remediation plans,

  • Contribute to answers to regulators regarding GO/ Group vendors & support ISAF annual process regarding procurement activities

  • Work with the GO Risk Team to define and quantify scenarios of risk, follow risk mitigation plan, produce Group KRI on procurement and improve risk profile at the division level

  • Be the GO representative as GO Vendor Risk KBU (Key Business User) in the different communities (Vendor Risk community, Procurement Tool community)

  • Work closely with key stakeholders as buyers and sourcing business partners (SBP) on procurement side and experts (Risk, Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance, Information Security and Operational Resilience)

  • Work closely with 1 or 2 offshored people in India to get support on the BAU activities.


Your Profile

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Experience

  • 8+ years of professional experience required, preferably within AXA or in another insurance company including at least 5 years of experience in project management

  • Appetence to Risk Management and Vendor Risk

  • Procurement awareness is a plus

  • Experience working in a matrix & international environment

Technical skills

  • Experience in project/program management

  • Facilitate and coordinate non-direct resources to deliver projects efficiently

  • Time management skills and able to meet tough deadlines

  • Able to think strategically and challenge the status quo

  • Analytical skills and ability to summarize & communicate on complex topics

  • Practical, hands-on approach to deliver concrete results

  • English - Fluent in speaking and writing

Soft skills / transversal skills

  • Project & change management skills to promote and support changes

  • Skills to work & get results in international teams with no hierarchical structures

  • Ability to deal with very different personalities at various hierarchy / seniority levels and various organizations
