What you'll do
- You establish and lead a global Data Science program, to drive global harmonization, digitalization, and data literacy in the organization
- You develop overall concepts for governance, technical platform and user enablement
- Together with the business partners, you develop data science use cases and are responsible for communication with management to support decision-making
- You build, lead, mentor and coach a central Data Science team (disciplinary)
- You define and develop the product and service portfolio of the program in line with the overall IT strategy, business stakeholder priorities and drive the implementation progress
- You actively drive adaptation and change management within IT and the various business units
- As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, you support the team in the development and sustainable implementation of the IT strategy
Who you are
- You have successfully led multiple complex IT projects and programs in multinational organizations (inhouse or external, ideally with Data Science elements)
- You are able to set a clear vision for the future Data Science program covering aspects like governance, technical platform and business enablement and translate this into executable strategies
- You have solid understanding of Data Science processes and methods
- You are familiar with IT architectures and solution landscapes, ideally in Data Science area
- You know how to use program/multi-project management methods in classic or agile organizational frameworks
- You are an emphatic leader with a good balance of “can do" mentality, risk management and strong communication skills with the ability to influence and conflict resolutions at all levels
- You would be willing to travel occasionally to KNAUF sites on all continents
