Functional Safety Engineer

We are looking for a candidate for the position of "Functional Safety Engineer" for the European Operations Center in Ostrava.

This position reports to

Lead Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Work in accordance with IEC61508 / IEC61511 and other safety regulations: documentation management, system development, basic design, engineering, testing, commissioning of process systems, service events
• PLC programming in the ABB environment (we can train): 800xA, AC800M HI, AC500-S
• Work with standard communication protocols: ModuleBus, Modbus (TCP / IP, RTU), PROFIBUS & PROFINET

Your background

• You have a secondary school/university education in the field of electrical engineering
• You have communicative English
• It is an advantage if you can also communicate in German
• You are willing to travel abroad
