Processing of (personal) data by the entity in charge of the online application process

Thanks for your interest in working with commercetools.
We want to inform you that for these reasons we need personal information from you and by registering your candidate profile, you provide commercetools with your personal data and state that you are interested in employment at commercetools. Your information will be used internally to determine how well your application fits the position you have applied for. That this can be done conformable to law, we need your explicit agreement that allows us to use your data as described. We’d like to inform you about regulations, which are important for our online-application system and all the included data and services. Please read this text consciously before you use our online-application system. If you disagree in any point please do not apply. If you agree please click ‚yes‘.

Declaration of consent:
By making this declaration of consent I permit commercetools GmbH (hereinafter referred to as ‘commercetools’), with its registered office at Adams-Lehmann-Strasse 44, 80797 Munich, to collect and process my personal data and application documents on the online applicant portal. Should I voluntarily provide information on a severe disability or other health data in the meaning of Article 4 No. 15 GDPR, I permit commercetools to also process that data in the course of the application process described above.
I understand that I may permit commercetools, by sending an informal email to jobs@commercetools.de, to store my personal applicant data beyond the statutory retention period of two months (Article 15 par. 4 of the German General Equal Treatment Act (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz)). In this way I can participate in the candidate pool and have commercetools send me suitable job offers.
Revocation notice:
You can revoke this declaration of consent at any time without giving reasons, with effect for the future. Please send your revocation by email to jobs@commercetools.de in order to exercise your revocation right. From the receipt of your revocation declaration commercetools will process your personal data no longer than required by the provisions of law on retention of records. When the statutory retention period ends, your personal data will be deleted in line with data protection requirements. If we receive your objection after the end of the statutory retention period, your personal data will be promptly deleted after the receipt of your revocation declaration. If you object to the processing of your health data in the meaning of Article 4 No. 15 GDPR it will be promptly deleted.

The controller in the meaning of Article 4 No. 7 GDPR is commercetools GmbH with its registered office at Adams-Lehmann-Strasse 44, 80797 Munich.
Applicants can apply for advertised positions with commercetools through the online careers area. In order to carry out the application process, commercetools will process the personal data and application documents provided. As a rule, the processing occurs on the basis of Article 26 par. 1 of the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) and the use of the online portal for that purpose on the basis of Article 6 par. 1a GDPR. If information on a severe disability or other health data in the meaning of Article 4 No. 15 GDPR is provided, the processing shall occur on the basis of Article 6 par. 1a GDPR. Voluntary longer storage of personal data for the purpose of participating in the candidate pool will also occur on the basis of Article 6 par. 1a GDPR. Information on a severe disability or other information on health data in the meaning of Article 4 No. 15 GDPR shall be provided exclusively on a voluntary basis, which means that applications are also possible without that information, without the applicant incurring any advantage or disadvantage as a result.
