YOUR TASK
The Flight Data Monitoring Senior Supervisor derives his authority from, and is directly responsible to, the Flight Safety Manager on all matters concerning Flight Data Monitoring.The jobholder will implement, control and supervise the Flight Data Monitoring Program.Your tasks are
- Fulfill all legal requirements of Flight Data Monitoring,
- Administrator of Flight Data Monitoring System,
- Maintainopen liaison with external bodies, such as Civil Aviation Authorities (LBA), airlines, IATA, FlightSafety Foundation, etc.,
- Prepare and lead interdepartmental FDM Safety Action Groups,
- Develop and continuously improve the Flight Operations and Maintenance part of the FDM System(advanced IT programming),
- Collect and process FDM data,
- Perform statistical analyses,
- Analyze, investigate and report the results,
- Develop and monitor safety performance indicators,
- Perform flight studies for serious event analysis,
- Consultservice for Flight Crews,Flight Crew Training Department,Flight Operations Department,Engineering Department,
- Assistwith the investigation of accidents and incidents,
- Publish FDM Bulletin to Flight Crews and daily reports for the Safety Manager,
- Define and improve departmental processes,
- Representthe company on FDM and safety matters,i.e. meetings & conferences with external national and international bodies.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Graduated Aerospace Engineer or similar accredited experience,
- Several years of experience in field of Flight Data Monitoring and/or Aviation Safety Management and/or Flight Operations PerformanceEngineering,
- Active or frozen PPL is an asset,
- Knowledge in FDM Software Tools, Flight Data Evaluation and programming highly desirable,
- Comprehensive understanding of the German/ European legislative and regulatory framework and other statutory requirements
- AIR-OPS ORO.GEN.200 (a) (1) No.965/2012 - 'Air Operations '],CR (EU) 1178/2011- ,Air Crew ', CR (EU) 1321/2014-'ContinuingAirworthiness & Maintenance; IATA (IOSA),
- Good knowledge of IT tools (office products),
- Team player with excellent communication skills in German and English and integrator skills and the sense of responsibility and confidentiality,
- Strong operational and technical background with the ability to work under pressure and according to strict deadlines,
- Sound understanding of aircraft maintenance and organizational requirements for aircraft safety, security, quality, airworthiness and general airline operations.
