Financial Controller (F/M/D), Cologne

We are searching for an enthusiastic Financial Controller (m/f/d) who can professionalize our controlling processes, oversee financial accounting, and support daily financial operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and practical experience in the field of venture capital financing. You will work closely with our Finance Lead and Managing Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing fund structures, including capital call and distribution processes.
• Collaborating closely with the tax advisory team for pre-accounting using DATEV, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
• Assisting in the preparation of quarterly reports for Limited Partners.
• Conducting daily accounting tasks such as bank transfers and expense monitoring.
• Continuously improving accounting and controlling procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in finance, preferably in the venture capital or private equity sector.
• Proficiency in DATEV and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in both German and English.
