Be part of a highly engaged team, where you can combine the Finance & Business aspects and create impact by:

• Taking on a substantial role for the SRE’s EU Taxonomy reporting in close alignment with SRE’s sustainability experts. This includes the response to request on inquiries of internal and external auditors.
• Providing comprehensive documents to explain the EU Taxonomy results including the alignment gaps to SRE management and propose measures for alignment improvement.
• Driving the development and enhancement of a future-oriented integrated EU Taxonomy reporting processes and IT landscape for SRE and a further extension for other ESG relevant reporting topics (in particular CSRD) taking into account the most recent regulatory developments.
• Taking over the role of a key user for SRE for the Siemens EU Taxonomy Assessment Tool “TAXY”.
• Supporting the monthly preparation of the real estate subgroup financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the quarterly preparation of the notes required by IFRS.
• Contributing in other projects (e.g., the implementation of new accounting standards and support for M&A activities) is also part of the job role.
• Acting as a partner for the stakeholders and service providers of FIN AR (e.g., SRE Business Administrators, Sustainability, IT, Controlling & Finance, Global Business Services).

Your success is grounded in:

• Having successfully completed a master’s degree preferably in economics or comparable background.
• Having many years of professional experience in accounting / controlling. Existing experience within Siemens is a plus.
• Bringing basic knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), EU Taxonomy and CSRD.
• Strong interest in sustainability reporting and being open for change.
• Wanting to shape the SRE’s future corporate reporting.
• Having strong resilience and commitment.
• Skilled in MS Office products, knowledge of SAP ERP (FI modules) and ESPRIT (SAP SEM BCS) are an advantage.
• Bringing an analytical and customer-oriented way of working and showing a strong willingness to work in virtual, international teams.
• Having very good English skills.
