The role
As our Finance Operations Specialist (f/m/d), you own and run all of our customer finance-related matters, ensuring maximum integrity of the processes and collaboration between all involved parties. You will own the end-to-end contract management process. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and internal stakeholders for any contract or invoice-related queries. You will work closely with Finance Leadership, Finance Operations (i.e., invoicing), Risk & Compliance and Account Managers to maximally enable invoice collection, providing outstanding service to clients. You will focus on continuously improving processes and also work together with our Finance Product team to automate flows and minimize (work) time spent per dollar collected.
Location
This is an onsite position with home office allowance, which means you will be expected to work in the office with us in Hamburg and still have the flexibility to work from home
Requirements
Your impact?
- You resolve tickets and pending customer issues in a prompt and efficient manner
- You ensure contracts are completed accurately and in a timely fashion, and you also manage the contract renewal process.
- Perform regular reconciliations between our systems to ensure data accuracy
- You work with the product team to ensure the latest updates are reflected in our contract management system, and you also identify platform bugs, suggesting necessary improvements to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- You drive and support the improvement of various processes relative to Finance Operations
What makes you a great fit?
- You bring multiple years of experience in payment/Finance Operations at a start-up or scale-up and/or shipping/logistics companies
- You possess a high degree of organizational acumen, demonstrating exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
- Effective communication is imperative
- Your approach is characterized by meticulous attention to detail, and you are consistently trustworthy across all dimensions.
- Self-starter attitude with a high personal drive – you are excited about being a part of rapid growth and not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Fluency in English (Knowledge of an additional language is a plus) 😊
