Finance & Controlling Analyst Bioconjugates (f/m/d)

The Site Controller is a key Business Partner to the Bioconjugates Operation/Business Team, Head of Finance Bio Visp and the Bio BU Operation Finance team. The role is responsible for supporting the overall BCJ Operation Team and Head of Finance BCJ to reach short-and long-term targets by providing financial analysis and recommendations in various financial aspects of the respective areas e.g. cost transparency and cost savings. This role is supporting financial matters of specific areas within a growing manufacturing site.

Key responsibilities:

• Enabling Bioconjugates site to reach short-and long-term targets by providing insightful analysis and recommendations in all financials aspects of the plant such as (but not limited to) cost transparency, product profitability, key performance indicators in production, innovation, cost savings, planning cycles and net working capital
• Support in managing monthly financial closing, forecast and risks and opportunity process together with Division Controlling and Corporate FP&A (revenue to EBITDA and free cash flow, balance sheet and NWC)
• Participating in 5 year strategic planning process within the area of responsibility with focus on sales, cost savings/innovation
• Supporting annual budgeting process with plant leadership with the objective of meeting corporate targets and deadlines
• Acting single-point-of contact towards Shared Service Center and external auditors in accounting, internal controls and audit questions for the area of responsibility

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in the field of Business: finance, accounting or economics
• Must be business fluent in English; German is preferred.
• Entry level experience within Finance & Controlling
• Highly analytical, financial modelling, strong communication, team oriented and at ease with systems and ambiguity, cross-functional agility, proactive in search for best practice processes, ability to prioritize and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
• Gravitas of a current and future leader, bias towards action and results delivery which are critical in a highly performance oriented environment , hard worker.
• Translates corporate strategy into critical success factors and creates breakthrough implementation plans
• Acts as a key communication link between operational layers and upper management
• Communicates business strategy, measures and tactical plans effectively to all stakeholders and helps them make sense of complexity and uncertainty
