Yakult USA, the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer in Fountain Valley, is hiring for 3rd shift Facility Maintenance Assistant! The minimum requirement is at least 1 year of Facility Maintenance and/or Mechanical Maintenance experience.
- Location: Fountain Valley, CA
- Direct Hire with Excellent Benefit Package: Medical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance, 401K with matching, Paid Holiday & PTO
- Work Hours: 5 days/week, Monday – Saturday (Sunday and another day off during weekday), 1st Shift: 7:00am ~ 4:00am
- Salary Range: $21.00 ~ $25.00/hr plus shift pay
Requirements of the Facility Maintenance Assistant:
- 1+ year of utility experience in factory/commercial buildings or Mechanical Maintenance experience
- Technical degree in mechanical course of study preferred, or relevant experience
- Experience installing and buying equipment preferred.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Boiler license is a big plus
- Ability to accept direction and have a desire to work as part of a team
- Computer literate with thorough understanding of MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible and easily adapt to change
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and climb to perform job functions as needed
Responsibilities of the Facility Maintenance Assistant:
Perform all duties associated with the maintenance and daily operation of the facility in the factory.
- Operate and maintain equipment per suppliers' recommendations and standard operating procedures
- Prepare asset care preventative maintenance schedules and strictly follow these schedules.
- Update Factory Supervisor and Manager with daily reports.
- Perform Facility Maintenance and keep inventory of all utility equipment and materials.
- Perform troubleshooting duties under supervisor's direction.
- Maintain a safe work environment by practicing company policies, standard food safety (HACCP)/OSHA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
