Form der ArbeitWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to lead our procurement team covering the onshore and offshore Wind Energy business during construction and operations. The successful candidate will manage and develop a team of strategic procurement managers, oversee, and manage the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities crucial for the successful execution of our Wind Energy initiatives. This role will be reporting to the Head of Procurement Sustainable Energy infrastructure and will be part of a dynamic and driven Management Team striving to set up the right partnerships and procurement strategies to enable the energy transformation for EnBW and Germany.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the procurement team in identifying, evaluating, and engaging with suppliers and contractors for various components required in Wind Energy projects
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives and respective category strategies focusing on Wind Energy projects
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery while adhering to budgetary constraints
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment and compliance with project timelines, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes, vendor relationships, and cost-saving strategies
- Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and industry developments to proactively adapt and optimize procurement strategies
