A wide range of tasks
  • Create and enhance models to forecast gas supply and demand 
  • Engage in the development of production level code in Python 
  • Participate in the building and management of relational databases 
  • Participate in the retrieval of data from web sources 
  • Create dashboards for data analysis and visualization 
  • Present results from the model to the gas desk and inside the Trading unit 
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to help traders when demanded by market conditions 

Anfrage

Convincing profile
  • Bachelors or Masters in a quantitative subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or similar 
  • Proven programming experience with Python 
  • Experience using relational databases and knowledge of SQL, C++ advantageous 
  • Demonstrable interest in energy or commodity markets 
  • Ability to work as an effective team player and add value to team in a trading environment
