In our rapidly growing family, we're looking for someone like you to join our Berlin team as a: Expert/Technician/Engineer for Industrial Digitalization (OT) and Automation (m/f/d)
Your Mission:
- Shape the future by advancing and expanding our OT/IT infrastructure.
- Plan and implement additional hardware and software to further digitize our production and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our Production, Technical, and Corporate IT teams, especially in IT/OT architecture and IT security.
- Keep a watchful eye on OT networks and servers, with regular status updates.
- Identify and tackle disruptions and performance bottlenecks.
- Manage upstream interfaces/networks (Ethernet, Profibus/Profinet, etc.).
- Handle hardware replacements, cable management, activations, and IP address assignments.
- Take charge of commissioning, configuring, and setting up computer systems in the OT domain.
- Execute or assist in OT service requests: network, workplace (clients), printers in the production environment, etc.
- Stay on top of continuous updates, patch management, and firmware updates for components in the production network.
- Develop and implement system backup procedures, and document system, software, and data backups.
- Provide support for the Process Historian application (Audit Trail).
- Assist in CSV measures (qualification) to comply with GxP regulations.
Your Profile:
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Industrial Informatics or a comparable field, or relevant vocational training (e.g., IT specialist or master/technician in electronics, telecommunications, data processing) with at least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
- Expertise in OT infrastructure, OT hardware, operating systems, and communication technologies and protocols, including:
- Relevant experience in (PLCs, SCADA), Windows Server, Active Directory, network technology (support, maintenance, fault analysis, troubleshooting, documentation), ideally also firewall and security.
- Knowledge of PC/IPC hardware, SIMATIC hardware, and associated operating systems (Microsoft WIN XP, WIN7, WIN10 and the services and system parameters and parameter tools within them (e.g., TIA Portal)).
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in cross-functional teams.
- Bring a creative and enthusiastic spirit for generating new ideas.

- A practical mindset, structured approach, and analytical skills to improve the status quo.
