Your future plans
The role is embedded in the ETRM Solutions team (ETRM – Energy Trading and Risk Management) which is responsible for design, built, test, support and run of modules in RWE Supply & Trading GmbH's (RWEST) Endur platform. Endur is a key application of RWEST’s IT landscape.
As Application Developer you are responsible for developing solutions in close collaboration with business users and business analysts.

• You are part of the Development Squad which actively works together and delivers solutions in an agile setup
• You are looking for a challenge which combines development expertise with application / business knowledge
• You are motivated to take responsibility for delivering functionality which fits high standards in terms of robustness and business value
• You want to be part of a team which just started an exciting Cloud journey
• You like to continuously improve processes and drive change

Your powerful skills

• You are experienced in using Java or C# (both preferable)
• You have expertise in using cloud technologies and concepts (focus on Amazon Web Services)
• You have strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively
• You have Scrum (or Scrum alike) methodology knowledge

Advantageous, but not a must

• Experience with Apache Kafka
• ION / Openlink Endur experience
