Your role

We are looking for an ETF & Index Fund Investment Analyst who can:
• work with data and perform in-depth analytics
• articulate clearly and present the findings of the analysis
• has strong MS Office, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and programming skills (R would be advantageous)
• enhance and automate processes involving data and displaying results in reports and presentations
• have a positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performance team

Your team

You will be working in the ETF & Index Fund Investment Analytics team in Zürich. We are a dedicated team of Subject Matter Experts with an open corporate culture that values individual contributions and encourages proactive input and feedback. Our team works closely with and supports the EMEA sales colleagues and clients on the distinguishing characteristics of our ETFs, explain the unique investment features, and positions the offering against competing exposures. We are responsible for collateral material associated with our ETFs as well as responding to technical questions from clients or internal stakeholders, which involves thorough data analysis.

Your expertise

• ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in asset management or related passive investments field
• Ph.D. / Master’s degree or equivalent, with a focus on mathematics, economics or finance
• a gift for using numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
• proven ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and effective manner, both in written and oral form (to internal / external audiences)
• strong communicator with a collaborative personality
• a structured work style, confidently working autonomously, diligent and detail-oriented
• experience with high-level programming language and software know-how (e.g. R, Matlab, Python, etc.)
• strong command of Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg experience an advantage
• sustainability data / integration experience would be advantageous
• fluent in English, additional language skills in German, Italian or French would be advantageous
