You will be responsible for modeling and simulation of down hole electromagnetic measurements.
You will develop new measurement approaches and will validate their technical feasibility and support the implementation of these industry new approaches in our down hole and surface tools.
As a Engineer (m/f/d) Electromagnetic Modeling and Simulation, you will be responsible for:
Modeling and simulation of electromagnetic measurements of our down hole formation evaluation tools
Developing mathematical algorithms based on physics of electromagnetic wave propagation
Coding algorithms in C++, Matlab or similar programming environments
Verifying and test algorithms with laboratory and down hole data
Participating in field data analysis and evaluate quality of current solutions, suggest improvements for performance and quality of data interpretation
Contributing to development of HPC solutions for EM field modelling and inversion
Working in a multi-team environment spread geographically to create answer products for reservoir navigation and formation evaluation
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a successful completed your Master or Ph. D. in Physics / Mathematics
Have analytical skills in the field of mathematics and physics
Have an understanding and experience in numerical modelling and simulation algorithms of electromagnetic
Have experience in algorithm development for data processing/interpretation
Be able to speak fluent English and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills in an international environment
