Ihre Aufgaben

Key Responsibilities:

General:

• Define Develop improve stabilize and support key battery component manufacturing processes related to chemical conversion.
• Optimize processes to help achieve cost reduction targets
• Harmonize globally existing processes and specifications
• Prepare design engineering plans, track progress, assure timely completion and achievement of project goals
• Responsible for a small project or a single project task and its accomplishment regarding planning, organizing, directing, controlling activities
• Design validation builds, testing and product documentation.
• Coordinate the product testing execution to fulfil validation plans
• Use mathematical models and statistical techniques to develop and launch new products.
• Predict battery design performance and ongoing compliance also using computer modelling tools.
• Document new design and change proposal to present them for Design Review evaluation
• Report product validation progress to program management and other appropriate leadership levels on weekly and monthly basis.
• Preparation and support of risk analysis for new or changed processes
• Follow milestones of action plan to achieve determined results
• Cooperation with global Clarios facilities
• Guide programs and process introductions according to Clarios program execution standards

One expert area in:

• Process & Product Engineering: SLI- / EFB- / Commercial Vehicle- Products

And Preproduction:

• Supports PS EMEA plants in regard of all technical issues related to grid and plate making processes
• Responsible for introduction and development of all grid and plate production and transforming processes

Or Assembly / Poly:

• Supports PS EMEA plants in regard of all technical issues related to poly materials
• Responsible for introduction and development of all poly production and transforming processes

Or Formation:

• Supports PS EMEA plants in regard of all technical issues related to formation processes
• Responsible for introduction and development of all formation processes

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry / physics / engineering
• German and English language skills: minimum intermediate level
• Min 1-3 years Engineering experience
• Good understanding of the fundamentals of all Lead Acid battery manufacturing processes
• Solid understanding of lead-acid battery design and function.
• Professional software skills (MS Office)
• Good communication skills
