Embedded Software Developer Radar Application (F/M/D)

We are growing our customer application support activities and looking for a talented Software Developer. You will join a team of highly skilled system application engineers and support our customers design-in activities, providing timely, high quality solutions and aim for best-in-class application support for our CMOS automotive radar products.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support of NXP software components to major automotive Tier 1, OEM
• Reproduce and debug software application use cases
• Software applications testing, creating documentation and training materials
• Understand internal and external customer application requirements and expectations
• Development of software components for automotive radar sensor applications in C and C++
• Development of Python and Matlab scripts for sensor tests and measurement automation
• Create requirements for software components
• Develop competence as differentiator in supporting our customer’s design-in activities
• Drive continuously efficiency, productivity and quality improvements

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor, Master or PhD Degree in EE Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics
• Ability for interdisciplinary problem solving and handling complex technical subjects
• Fluency in C/C++
• Solid experience in microcontroller programming
• Experience in ARM architecture embedded devices is highly beneficial
• Good understanding of embedded debugging techniques – software, in-circuit, HW/SW debugging
• SMD soldering and measurements skills with basic lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeters)
• Understanding of electronic schematics and component function
• Knowledge of Python or Matlab programming is highly beneficial
• Experience with sensor or ECU programming and algorithms is advantage
