Electrical / Electronic Architecture Engineer (f/m/d)
Tasks:
Design and define Electrical / Electronic (E/E) architecture for battery and fuel cell electrical heavy trucks
Develop vehicle functions (VF) concept from logical to physical architecture by creating functional block diagrams (FBD), writing VF requirements and E/E integration requirements for specific functions
Review applicable top-level regulatory, product, and performance requirements and apply them to drive the concept for VFs
Serve as the technical interface to stakeholders for specific VFs throughout the vehicle development cycle, collaborating with internal system, component, software, validation engineering teams, and external suppliers and partners
Provide support and advisement to validation and quality teams for technical issues
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering
Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in designing entire vehicle E/E architectures, ideally for battery-electric, fuel-cell electric, or electric hybrid vehicles
Experience in requirement writing, management, and associated tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jira, Jama / Enterprise Architect)
Knowledge of European automotive regulations, including General Safety Regulation (GSR) - A, B, C, D
Proven skill on main automotive networks and protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN), related standards (e.g. ISO 11898, SAE J1939 / Autosar/) and tools (e.g. Vector Canoe/Canalyzer); Ethernet Protocol knowledge is a plus
Understanding of the V-cycle and proven skills in root cause analysis, impact analysis, and change requests
Knowledge of functional safety and ISO26262; experience with Functional Safety Concept (FSC) process (Item definition, HARA, SG, FSR ) is a plus
Knowledge of cybersecurity and ISO21434; experience with Cybersecurity Concept (TARA, risk mitigation, E2E protection, Nxp-transceiver) is a plus
Understanding of at least some of the following: DC to DC (direct current) converters, power systems switches, high voltage DC systems, switching circuits, wiring loading, electromatic compatibility (EMC), high and low voltage battery systems
Strong technical communication and reporting skills, proactivity and hands-on mentality
Fluency in English; German or Italian language skills are a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally
