The incumbent is responsible for leading Abbott Nutrition’s Supply Chain operations from demand planning to order fulfillment. He/she ensures the effective and efficient execution of daily and long-term operation, including but not limited to project management, demand planning, supply planning, importations, third party manufacturing, customer service, inventory management, and warehousing and distribution.
As a key leader in the organization, the incumbent is expected to lead Supply Chain strategic initiatives and best practices to support business strategy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive forecast accuracy through effective demand planning processes and data optimization
- Direct supply planning strategies, initiatives and methodologies to optimize inventory levels
- Ensure compliance to product quality and safety standards, policies and procedures and specifications for raw materials, productions processes and finished goods inventory
- Manage full monthly supply situation and optimize supply utilization to ensure that sales targets and customer demands are met
- Development of contingency plans to manage identified gaps in Supply Chain.
- Develops Manufacturing/Distribution models to assess their impact to business strategies and annual plans.
- Direct the third party manufacturing activities to ensure the availability of quality outsourced stocks to meet demand
- Implement new technologies to implement efficiencies in Supply Chain operations
- Deliver Supply Chain KPIs
- Manage the budget of Supply Chain operations
- Lead initiatives to realize cost savings and improve margins
- Build and develop a high performing Supply Chain Operations team

QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Industrial Management or Management Engineering preferred but not required
