SIXT is growing exponentially in the US and to help build on that momentum, we are in search of a Director of International Business Development to help generate revenue by growing existing partnerships and acquiring new corporate clients. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will create and lead a team focused on identifying and capitalizing on international opportunities within the US, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Caribbean markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential international markets for expansion.
Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for entering new markets, considering factors such as market size, competition, regulatory environment, and customer demand.
Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and successful execution of expansion strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the effectiveness of International Business Development initiatives.
Develop pricing strategies and revenue models tailored to international markets, considering local economic conditions and consumer behavior.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related fields
10+ years’ experience in B2B sales/account management within the travel industry, mobility services sector, automotive industry, or related
10+ year of International Business Development, preferably within the car rental or travel industry.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proven success in portfolio growth and successful negotiations
Working experience with CRMs systems
Functional knowledge of tracking, managing, and presenting KPIs
