The Role

The Director of E-Commerce (D2C) Growth Manager oversees our entire D2C business in the DACH region, responsible for revenue, profitability, and strategic growth. You'll lead D2C efforts, manage agencies, and drive Acquisition, Retention, and LTV. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop a top-notch digital marketing strategy, and build a scalable D2C growth machine.

How you can contribute to yamo

  • You own yamo’s overall Direct-to-Consumer (E-Commerce) business, its growth strategy, budget & forecast, and execution across paid and unpaid user acquisition & retention channels with the goal to maximise ROI and overall D2C revenue
  • As an expert in data driven performance marketing you will build campaigns in the classic channels (paid social, SEM, Youtube ads, affiliate, remarketing, display, email/CRM etc.) with the help of agencies
  • You define the D2C product offering on the website (special promotions, bundles, upselling / cross-selling strategies & pricing) in order to increase our AOV and LTV
  • You ensure consistent tracking on all campaigns and develop a pipeline for experimentation across marketing channels, audience targeting, creative, and messaging
  • You work closely with the digital product & brand marketing teams implementing funnel improvements and efficient landing pages to optimize the onsite experience for our traffic
  • You know and understand all E-Commerce KPIs, derive actions based on the analysis and ensure transparent reporting internally and externally to the key stakeholders
  • You always take the lead and organize cross-team work on projects that are needed to improve the D2C business performance

What sets you up for success

  • You have at least 5+ years of experience in E-Commerce and performance marketing with proven track record of scaling D2C brands; experience in CPG/FMCG sector would be a plus
  • You have experience planning and managing high acquisition budgets that tie into revenue targets
  • You have deep knowledge and hands on experience in Paid Performance channels, Email Marketing, organic growth channels
  • You are highly technical and analytical, knowing your way around attribution models, adtech, analytics, segmentation, automation etc.
  • You evaluate and interpret performance data; confident with Excel, pivot tables, cohort analysis, ROI calculations, etc.
  • You are familiar with key growth concepts such as CAC, LTV, activation, retention, referrals, churn, cohorts, etc, and know how to use these types of metrics to drive smart and efficient decisions
  • English is a MUST and being fluent in German is an additional bonus as we are operating in DACH markets
