Main Mission
Implementation of production schedules for goods and services based on sales forecasts established in coordination with the Sales, Marketing, Commercial excellence & Finance departments.
Follow-up of the supply plan, analysis of risks/opportunities for internal and external customers, definition of quota plan
Main responsibilities
Collaboration with management, sales, operations and finance teams to define and validate the sales forecast based on market information and commercial strategy
Formulation of sales hypotheses on all products and distribution channels, formulation of intermediate hypotheses with probabilities of occurrence based on market data and the environment, within 24 months.
Analysis of the reliability of forecasts in relation to the observed market demand, gap analysis, formulation and execution of improvement plans
SAP IBP data load and maintenance to drive product manufacturing planning based on market demand
Weekly monitoring of Back Order and upcoming critical situations to be addressed to EMEA HQ Demand team
Coordination with the support teams (Logistics, Distribution, Demand Europe & Global, Global Manufacturing) for the monitoring of the production and delivery of products to the various distribution platforms
Product lifecycle monitoring with sales teams (launch, end of sale, inventory management, configuration and activation in sales systems)
Contribution to planning and forecasting reviews with the Local & EMEA Management Committee: formulation and formalization of hypotheses, analysis of results and gaps
Contribution to commercial and operational projects: changes of distribution sites, monitoring of systemic and logistical impacts and expression of needs
Management of the sampling plan for internal and external sales forces
Monthly management of the quota allocation to the different distribution channels (Pharmacies, wholesalers, Web shops, Hospitals,…)
Continuous training and maintenance of knowledge of the market environment, sharing and implementation of good practices exchanges with EMEA teams
Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the quality system
Profile / Professional Experience
Master Degree
Experience in demand forecast management in a large international group.
Expected from the position
Trend analysis, gap analysis and information processing capabilities
Advanced knowledge of logistics and information systems (SAP or equivalent)
Knowledge of sales/marketing sales strategies and their impact
Ability to adapt in an uncertain environment, formulation of hypotheses, risk analysis and restitution of options considered
Fluency in reading, speaking and written English
Coordination and sharing of information, written and oral interpersonal communication
Intermediate knowledge in corporate finance & accounting
