Delivery Director, eGovernment services (m/f/d) Description

About the role

We’re looking for a Delivery Director with expertise in public administration to join our team in Berlin.
As a professional in IT consulting for public administration, you will ensure EPAM's continuous success with existing and future clients in a broad environment. The two key points for this are firstly, to manage customer expectations accordingly and ensure they are fully met and secondly, to optimize and motivate EPAM teams. You will require a high degree of flexibility, strong support from the EPAM organization and the opportunity to shape the strong growth of EPAM Germany in a stable international environment while fostering a startup culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical customer engagements, assembling and leading highly performing teams for technical implementation, and direct interaction with key customer stakeholders
• Overview and manage of all ongoing and planned engagements of EPAM Germany in the industry
• Develop the proposals and other presales activities in close coordination with our sales and account management teams
• Lead a team of delivery and project managers
• Participate in the leadership of the delivery unit at EPAM Germany
• Collaboratie in global and regional EPAM units to enhance EPAM's portfolio for the finance industry

Requirements

• Extensive experience in public administration in Germany
• Leadership experience in a consulting or IT service organization
• Experience in software development and a strong understanding of current technology trends
• Experience in presales, particularly in the development of fixed-price proposals
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methods, project/program management, and risk management
• Interest in building a strong team, including leadership of team members
• Fluent negotiation skills in English and German (C1+)
• Having the certification in project management such as PMI, Prince2, IAPM, etc., or Agile methodologies like Scrum, SAFe, Less, etc., will be advantageous
