We’re looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and develop its Data Engineering strategies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on ensuring the data warehouse performance operations and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

In this role, you’ll:
- Establish a 3-tier data warehouse for a pan-European group of companies
- Conduct requirement analysis, definition, development, test, roll-out and monitor ETL processes in the data warehouse
- Design and implement ETL processes for data integration in the data warehouse
- Conceptualise and optimise further development of the data warehouse architecture organisation
- Be responsible for data provenance analysis and development of the logical data model as well as implementation into a physical design and corresponding business rules
- Use software development tools such as: MS-SQL, SSIS, C#, .net, TFS, BIML and Tableau and SQL as "native language”
- Perform data mining and machine learning
- Several years of professional experience in the field of data warehouse engineering
- Sound knowledge of relational and multidimensional databases with Microsoft technologies (SQL Server / Analysis Services)
- Knowledge of R, SPSS, Python and commercially available BI solutions is a bonus
- Fundamental understanding of business contexts and understanding of how different departments control and define their KPIs
- High goal orientation and willingness to perform using abstract and analytical problem-solving skills
- Successfully completed studies in the STEM field, preferably (business) informatics or a comparable qualification
- Strong, empathic, fluent communication skills in English, German is a plus
