As a CSRD and Sustainability Consultant, you will design digital strategies to automate the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) process and enable companies to efficiently and effectively report on the European Sustainable Reporting Standards (ESRS) indicators through data models, data strategies and ESG reporting software.
To give you an idea of how this Sustainability Consultant role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:
· Design digital strategies to automate the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) process
· Take part in client projects in diverse sectors, analyzing reporting and ESG data management processes
· Conduct CSRD readiness assessments and use data analytics tools and software to help clients manage their ESG reporting practices
· Join executive meetings and help business development and sales teams formulate value propositions in sustainability reporting and transformations
· Participate actively in mentoring internal technology and delivery teams.
To apply for this CSRD and Sustainability Consultant role, you will need at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or engineering subject with a sustainability component. You will also require extensive hands-on experience with ESG Reporting or a willingness to get on a steep learning curve in the wide landscape of mandatory disclosure requirements. In addition, you should have a passion for sustainability and an understanding of sustainable business principles and strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
