Your role

Are you interested in Corporate Finance? Are you an analytical, yet innovative and outside the box thinker?
We're looking for someone to:
• join our EMEA Corporate Finance Group (CFG) team in Global Wealth Management (GWM), part of the Global Lending Unit
• support the Corporate Finance transaction origination efforts of GWM across M&A, public and private equity and debt capital markets as well as selected forms of financing
• work with the team in preparing in-depth industry, financial and valuation analyses to support our clients' strategic options and alternatives when it comes to their businesses and corporate holdings
• develop and enhance idea generation for our most important and successful clients. CFG ensures proper coverage which is required by our business owning clients.
• prepare internal and external presentation materials, industry and market analyses, build or evaluate financial models
• facilitate day-to-day client and transaction origination efforts alongside senior colleagues of the team
• engage with a multitude of stakeholders inside and outside of the team, including in Investment Banking across different sectors, product and country coverage teams as well as in GWM

Your team

You’ll be working in the Corporate Finance Group in Zurich. Our team is responsible for the origination of Corporate Finance transactions within GWM and to develop and enhance corporate client relationships across the EMEA region. You will support the advice and advisory services we provide to our clients as well as help coordinate and take-part in several transactions. You will join a global organization that aims to grow client relationships holistically, across the entire UBS offering and capabilities, with entrepreneurs and business owners across a multitude of different industries and regions.

Your expertise

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related fields
• previous internship or work experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity, with ideally 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
• understanding of financial markets as well as of Corporate Finance across M&A, debt and equity products and services
• solid financial analysis skills and the ability to synthesize complicated topics with ease
• skillset to produce accurate presentation material efficiently
• fluent in English, other European languages are a plus to support local client base
• resilient and persistent personality, ability to work fast and efficiently to push forward a number of different workstreams in tandem, all while prioritizing accordingly
