In our Corporate Affairs and Communications department is an open position as Corporate Affairs & Communications Manager to fill on a permanent basis.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will plan and lead the execution of internal communications strategy for JTI in Trier including the Factory as well as Global Functions to ensure smooth communications flows via different internal media channels while closely working together with the Trier ExCom
- In cooperation with our Corporate Affairs and Communications team in the German Market, you will:
- Safeguard the external communications strategy to keep wider audience informed about major and relevant JTI Trier activities
- Lead and execute the community investment & corporate sustainability programs related to JTI Trier site in line with company's objectives and Trier site ExCom guidelines
- Coordinate relations with media representatives and officials from national and local governments of the region including the coordination of site visits by media and political stakeholders
- You will participate in projects and tasks across all competencies in cooperation with Corporate Affairs and Communications team and Trier ExCom to learn and further develop into a more versatile profile
Your Profile:
- University degree in social, economic, environmental, or political sciences or related field of study
- Professional experience in corporate communications, journalism, PR or agency work
- Proficient in various internal and external communications tools such as research, copywriting, concept development and project management
- Confident in the use of common communication channels, print as well as digital including social media
- Independent and self-driven can do attitude
- Very good communication skills and confident demeanor and assertiveness, with an excellent teamwork attitude
