Commissioning Technician (Robotics)

As a Commissioning Technician (Robotics), you will execute commissioning activities under the supervision of the Commissioning Team Leader in all types of project sizes and complexities, efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Reporting to the Commissioning Team Leader, the key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to

Your responsibilities

• Execute commissioning work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines,
• Being in high cooperation with other departments in project commissioning processes,
• Performing virtual simulations before site installation,
• Performing on-site commissioning according to commissioning plan,
• Supporting mechanical installation, programming robot paths and welding parameters,
• Analyze geometrical measurement reports, weld penetration reports and apply necessary corrections according to the report results,
• Preparing documentations for ABB standards,
• Giving feedbacks to mechanical design team,
• Being in high cooperation with other departments in project commissioning processes,
• Represent ABB during site visits, communicating with customer to ensure satisfaction,
• To prevent disruption of commissioning processes by reporting to Commissioning Team Leader,
• Carrying out commissioning studies by actively accompanying the projects

Your background

• Vocational degree in Mechatronic, Mechanic, Control or Electric/Electronics,
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Robotics, welding, fixture and commissioning processes,
• Experience in ABB Robots is a must,
• Experience in geometrical adjustments of welding fixtures,
• Experience in arc/spot welding processes and process equipments,
• Experience in offline robot programming and simulation packages (RobotStudio) is a plus,
• Innovative, team player and highly motivated profile with strong interpersonal skills,
• No limitation for travel and working in customer site,
• Having a valid driving license and being an active driver,
• Preferably having a basic level of English
