Commercial Excellence Project Manager (f/m/d)

Job Highlights
  • Actively contribute to the future of LANXESS as part of the Excellence Program
  • Lead and drive commercial projects to generate tangible impact, for instance in the areas of pricing and volume improvements, customer segmentation and process optimizations
  • Leverage data, analytics/KI capabilities of LANXESS to build ‘insight – impact engines’
  • Deliver project objectives within quality, time, and budget: manage associated risks and report regularly
  • Manage and integrate relevant stakeholders – ensure team approach across BU/GF borders and motivate others to go the extra mile
  • Build your network within and beyond LANXESS: connect across the organization, build trustful relationship with BU & GF stakeholders and external experts / consultants
  • Coach BU M&S teams (and junior Project Managers) on the job; steer external partners
  • Project responsibility depends on seniority: Junior Project Managers will lead smaller projects while Senior Project Managers will independently run larger, multi-stakeholder projects
Requirements
  • University degree in business, chemistry or engineering
  • Relevant work experience in commercials roles > 3-5 (Junior) respectively 5+ (Senior) years
  • Willingness to go the extra mile and overcome obstacles to generate tangible impact
  • Commercial content expertise in core areas like pricing (value based), customer segmentation, channel management, commercial processes & data/analytics/AI-enhanced processes
  • Strong analytical thinking capabilities and data / tool savviness
  • Project management skills, ideally in multi-stakeholder settings across organizational borders
  • Unifier mindset, strong social skills to cater diverse set of stakeholder in an international business environment
  • A plus: insights on commercial best practices within commodity/specialty chemicals and adjacent industries
