TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition.

As an Information manager you make sure that Digitalization, Technology and Process Excellence improve TenneT’s results and OKRs. Together with business stakeholders you develop the IT/Digital horizon roadmaps.

Your perspective is from the total chain instead of Unit focus. The Information Manager co-create the Portfolio and ensure feasible portfolio execution together with business, portfolio management and delivery teams.

You are assigned to business unit(s) and can cover business analysis and improvement practices. This applies for initiatives of high business value in case scarce knowledge is needed.

You will join the Domain Office of the Asset Chain in BTO

Your contribution to TenneT

• Responsible for the creation and updating of the Initial Roadmap of IT/Digital horizons. Aligning with business and budget processes.

• Support the portfolio Initiate and validate process and the demand management processes like business investment plans with Business.

• Cocreate the portfolio (based on the roadmaps) and ensure feasible portfolio execution together with business, portfolio management and delivery teams/Leads.

• Support in High level assessment of requirements and potential process & applications/Data impact.

• Drive digital innovations by scouting external digital trends and translate them to TenneT relevant improvements.

• Consultancy on initiatives of high business value in case scarce knowledge is needed. This is applicable for process improvements BTO and or Business units.

• Continuously review and update stakeholder map connected to the roadmap.

Your profile and background

You are a seasoned professional with the following qualifications:

• Belief in a non-hierarchical culture, transparency and trust in teams;

• Leader and facilitator, not shying away challenge the business;

• Servant leadership style, inspiring others to contribute, coaching others to deliver with quality;

• Ability to enable broad and deep collaboration with stakeholders on all levels;

• Good communication and presentation skills and you are organizational sensitive;

• Fluent in English and Dutch;

• Professional qualifications including relevant bachelor degree or equivalent.

• • TSO/DSO and/or Asset Chain experience is a must;

• Proven interest and experience with digital (innovative) implementations;

• Proven interest in process improvement techniques;

• Large relevant network within and outside TenneT is a preference;

• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills;

• You are structured, hands-on, driven, result-oriented, have good advice skills and are a team player;

• Intrinsically curious with good listening and questioning skills;

• Good moderating and facilitating skills.

This will be our challenge

BTO will drive security of supply, energy transition, organizational and financial health through digital, data and analytics. BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.
