AdresseAs a Business Intelligence Manager of our Operations team, you will be pivotal in boosting our operational performance with strategic data analysis. You will be handling data requests from the operations department, improving data flow and access within the Metabase platform. This role bridges technical data analysis and business insights. It also involves orchestrating data roundtables with BI Analysts from different departments to foster collaboration and share knowledge.
Your role in a team:
- Direct management of data requests from the operations department, ensuring timely and accurate data provisioning and analysis
- Responsible for the restructuring and optimization of the operations area within the Metabase reporting platform
- Develop and execute advanced SQL queries, reports, and dashboards to drive operational insights and decisions
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand both the technical and business aspects of data, translating complex datasets into strategic business insights
- Be part of data roundtables with other BI Managers across departments, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative problem-solving
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in a BI or Data Analyst role
- Strong SQL expertise, with experience using at least one BI platform such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Proficient in English and at least B2 level of German
- Experience in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into business insights (Data Story Telling)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated creativity and ability to think outside the box
Nice to have:
- Experience working in dbt, git, and basic knowledge of Python
