Your contribution to TenneT

As Project Manager for Building Information Management (BIM) you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful adoption and enhancement of the BIM approach within our 2GW Program across awarded projects in close collaboration with the engineering teams

• You lead the implementation of the BIM approach within awarded projects, ensuring proper education, coaching, and application at process and product level
• You collaborate closely with contractors to assess capabilities, provide coaching, training, and other improvements as needed to implement the BIM approach effectively
• You serve as the primary contact point withing the project organisation for project leads, sub-project leads, technical specialists regarding BIM topics and you will be supported by experienced BIM advisor(s)
• You will continously improve the BIM approach together with other BIM Project Managers, the project management line organisation and other relevant departments ensuring the implementation of lessons learned

Your profile and background

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree as a civil engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, architect or comparable and an academic level of thinking and working
• You have experience in Building Information Management, at least 3 years and you worked as a Project Manager in infrastructure projects, ideally 5 years
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams
• You demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels within an international project organization and you see change as an opportunity and act as an BIM ambassador
• You are able to manage at a strategic and tactical level while generating practical solutions in a fast-moving and challenging environment
• You are fluent in English and German, besides you are willing to travel as per project needs

This will be our challenge

Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
