About the role

We are looking for a motivated Blockchain Developer to be part of our engineering team at Papers, working primarly on our substrate based blockchain project.

• Design and develop blockchain protocols
• Designing and developing APIs
• Requirements engineering to get an clear understanding of the deliverables and approach
• Developing maintainable code by writing test cases for automated testing

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields like Mathematics or Physics
• Experienced with blockchain development
• Proficiency with Rust
• Good understanding of Design Patterns
• Enjoying writing maintainable, testable and documented code with a keen eye on high-quality code
• Previous experience in the security sector
• Verbal and written fluency in English
• Self-organized and autonomous, get things done mentality

Bonus Points

• Knowledge in blockchain related smart contract languages/frameworks like LIGO, SmartPy, Solidity, Web3, ink, etc.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, C/C++.
