To strengthen our Account Management team at our Antibody Discovery facility in Freiburg, Germany, we are searching for communicative candidates passionate about Genovac Antibody Services company products and the clients they serve. The main responsibilities of the Account Manager will be to support the Account Management and Client Relations team and will also act as a point of contact for clients. The Account Manager supports the account management team in terms of the key Account Management responsibilities including the triple constraint for projects, which are cost, time, and quality (the scope). The ability to adapt to the various internal administrative and productive procedures and to form close links with the sales and production team is essential in ensuring that the scope and above all, client satisfaction, can be realized.The position will be based in Freiburg, Germany.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities and service processes.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a client project and scope.
- Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
- Keeping accurate records pertaining to quotes, sales orders and account notes for existing clients.
- Analyze and show sales potential of existing clients, responsibility for account-related turnover.
- Supporting regular updating of client accounts revenue forecasts in the Genovac ERP System (NetSuite)
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
- Communicating and building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
- Communicating and building relationships with Genovac team members based on trust and respect.
- Updating existing clients about new products and services.
- Perform client updates to include software management, uploading data and timelines, sending updates to clients.
- Provide explanations, data exchange and interpretation to clients.
- Provide information about the quality of products and processes.
- Ensures project data and documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Support the management of multiple key accounts in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Complaint management and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
- Occasionally working outside normal working hours, e. g. for the support of Genovac US clients.
- Other duties as required and/or assigned.
- In-depth understanding of biological (preferably immune biological) and/or biotechnological processes is required.
- Minimum of B. Sc. degree in Biology (preferable Immune Biology) or Biotechnology.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
- Fluency in German and English required.
- Ability to establish and conduct clear and professional communications with coworkers and clients.
- High level of organization and ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources to achieve company and client objectives.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritize work according to changing priorities, requests, or projects.
- Willingness to work in a demanding, client-focused environment and on occasion during hours outside the standard workday times.
- Demonstrate high ethical standards and trustworthiness.
- Desire to work in a team-orientated Client Relations environment and trust colleagues.
- Willingness and passion for continual contribution to process improvement.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office).
