This is a unique opportunity for an Associate to join an established & growing business and play an instrumental role in delivering exciting projects to clients. The successful candidate will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi-stakeholder, multi-national and domestic restructuring advisory engagements.
Main responsibilities:
As part of a select and highly skilled team you will have the opportunity to;
- Advise companies, investors, lenders or any other stakeholders facing distressed situations; assess Group-level financial performance in addition to high-level studies of the financial viability of subsidiary companies
- Conduct Independent Business Reviews, Initial diagnostic assessment of key issues and business outlook, appraisal of options & contingency planning and cash flow assessments
- Evaluate business plans and financial projections, including assessments of risks and opportunities - Contribute to performance monitoring following business plan implementation
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders in the Swiss and European Restructuring community through the delivery of value added client engagements
- Contribute to business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandates
Associates at A&M will benefit from established formal and informal training programmes and mentorship. They will also be encouraged to internally network with our other service lines and work on external marketing events to build their network internally and externally.
Candidate profile
- Strong academic background
- At least two years of experience working for a leading consultancy firm, investment bank, debt or private fund or in an equivalent role in a corporate
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, build financial models & analyse financial under-performance and related tasks
- Fluent business level English and German are essential. Additional European language skills would be benefit
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
