Associate or FullProfessor in Applied Data Science (all genders) Full-time (40 h/w) in Vienna, Austria

Modul University Vienna is seeking an outstanding scholar for an Associate or Full Professor position (depending on the qualifications) with exceptional qualifications in the field of Data Science with a focus on areas such as machine learning, deep learning, predictive analytics, knowledge extraction, distributed ledger technology, text mining and multimedia mining, data manipulation tools, analysis, and reporting. Furthermore, strong programming, mathematical and statistical skills are desirable as well as knowledge in information systems development and engineering.
The position is integrated into the School of Applied Data Science. The applicants are supposed to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of Data Science, and to teach undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. courses offered in Vienna (see www.modul.ac.at/study-programs). This is a full‐time, unlimited contract position where applicants are prepared to work 40 hours per week.
