What you`ll do: 

You will join the Cross Product Engineering & Experience organization, which is at the very heart of SAP.   

In this role, you will have the opportunity to have an impact on the future of SAP. You will contribute to integration projects - including the 300 million Euros publicly funded EU project "Open Reference Architecture" (ORA). Your contributions will directly influence SAP’s integration strategy and SAP’s long-term strategic integration architecture. You will be part of a central team that collaborates with all SAP applications and services and work on some of SAP’s most challenging integration issues. 

As an Associate Development Architect (f/m/d) for Application Integration, you will work on architectural concepts related to integration, e.g., the ODM ID, Open Resource Discovery (ORD), or the Master Data Integration Service. Furthermore, you will collaborate with architects across all applications and participate in workstreams in SAP’s cross-collaboration model CPA (Cross-Product Architecture). You will record decisions with long-lasting strategic impact and their reasoning in architecture decision records (ADR). 

What you bring: 

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in (business application) development 
• Very good analytical skills, conceptual thinking, structured problem solving. 
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, .NET, node.js, Go, Python, ABAP) 
• Enjoy conceptual work 
• Good communication and moderation skills in English, ideally also in German
