Application Operations Engineer (Ci/Cd Champ) - Virtual Services - Sofia/Plovdiv

Your tasks

• Being responsible for incident, problem, change and release management;
• Creating and deliver virtualized interfaces;
• Ensuring platform stability and availability;
• Monitoring the infrastructure and the applications and analyzing problems based on product logs;
• Communicating and collaborating with users and developers;
• Managing platform’s documentation;
• Working in an Agile team setup;
• Other tasks related to the job.

Certain tasks from time to time would need to be performed from our Plovdiv office which your employer shall keep you informed.

Your profile

• Hands-on experience working with Linux / Unix;
• Experience with Cloud solution (Openshift / Azure / AWS / CGP);
• Professional experience with software application support (focus on Java-based applications);
• Knowledge in messaging systems (e.g. IBM MQ, Apache Kafka);
• Familiarity with relational databases would be considered as an advantage;
• Experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bitbucket, TeamCity, ServiceNow;
• Very good communication skills;
• Customer orientation and ownership attitude for the assigned responsibilities to deliver results;
• Fluency in English – both written and verbal;
• University degree in IT or relevant.

The CI/CD CHAMPdivision is responsible for the development and provision of services in the area of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration. We provide automated deployment environments, customized delivery pipelines, code quality assurance and test automation tools and expertise to other projects within Commerzbank.

As part of a delivery team, you will be involved in the development and maintenance of an automated DevOps platform used in the bank. You will help shorten the time to market cycle and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
