Application Lifecycle Manager (d/f/m) for PLM
You will join our team to provide reliable CAD & PLM applications for our legacy Aircraft programs. Furthermore, you will contribute to the PLM solutions for our future zero-emission programs.
You will become accountable for PLM applications for Airbus Aerostructures. Your internal customers will be our engineering, manufacturing engineering and production communities, more than 5000 active users. You will work closely together with our IT product owners, system architects and business analysts
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg or alternatively at one of the sites in Nordenham or Augsburg. Partially remote working is possible.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Maintain an overview about your application status and the related services provided by external suppliers
Define the monitoring processes and tools to maintain the requested service level
Technically steer and direct our suppliers (2nd level support) to maintain sustainable application availability
Develop upgrade paths and analyze dependencies to deploy new software releases and steer the release management for your applications accordingly
Identify threats in close collaboration with our cyber security team and develop countermeasures
Understand typical use cases and user behavior to drive continuous improvement and maintain a well-scaled environment
Support our IT architects and contribute to the conceptual design of new features and future system landscape, and help to meet requirements preferably with COTS solutions
Ensure that the known Product/Application or Service vision is translated into a prioritized backlog in alignment with the business product owner
Collect, research and suggest solutions to address new requirements or overcome obsolescence
Desired skills and qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in information technology or similar qualification
3-5 years of experience in managing heterogeneous (Windows & Linux) client/server infrastructures
Expertise in mitigating CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) in corporate environments
ITIL Certification would be an advantage
Experience with system administration or database administration would be an advantage
Experience with PTC Windchill would be an advantage
Ability to work in virtual teams
Highly proficient in English and German.
