In a nutshell
First things first: The role of an Intern at Picnic is a versatile one. From day one, you’ll coordinate a project in a holistic and sustainable way and be end-to-end responsible for one part of our business. It’s important to us that you drive the project or other improvements from initiation to implementation.
We had a great start in NRW, now we want to bring Picnic to other regions in Germany - which is why we need you! You will be part of our Expansion analyst team working constantly on Picnics’ development in the German market. Moreover, you will work closely together with colleagues from Germany, the Netherlands, and France. You will have a mentor who will be supporting you during your whole Picnic journey, standing ready for any personal or professional challenges coming your way! What you’ll do
- Conduct your own personal project in the launch process for new regions in Germany
- Communicate effectively with different stakeholders across Picnic and within the launch teams for new regions to deliver impactful and sustainable solutions
- Build, refine and maintain strategic models for planning and tracking different expansion workstreams such as employee recruitment and organization or real estate search
- Support in preparation for regular review cycles with Picnic’s founders
- You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in a quantitative field of study, such as Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Informatics or Business Administration
- You have proficient knowledge of Excel and an interest in learning Tableau and SQL
- You are fluent in both verbal and written English
- You have EU citizenship or a valid visa to work in the EU
- Availability: at least 4-6 months for a regular internship
