Our Company
Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.
We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity:

From the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night consider the media you consume, the adverts you see, the apps you use, the websites you browse and almost all of the shopping you do online throughout the day. Chances are that every single one of those interactions, every single one of those experiences, was touched by an Adobe product.

Adobe’s Office of Ethical Innovation (AI Ethics) drives organization-wide ethics related activities and develops processes, tools, training, and other resources that guide our AI solutions to consistently reflect Adobe’s AI ethics principles: accountability, responsibility, and transparency. AI is essential to our Adobe products, and we continue to see AI used in more innovative ways. AI Ethics needs to be top of mind from research to product release.

What you'll Do:

  • Work closely with product teams to help identify and evaluate potential harmful bias in technologies such as Big Data, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Classification, GANS, and Generative AI.

  • Research, evaluate, and propose harmful bias mitigation techniques for product teams.

  • Prototype evaluation techniques for AI product use cases.

  • Assist product teams in designing and performing harmful bias evaluations as needed, including developing test suites and metrics and adapting them.

  • Create and maintain reusable test suites and benchmarks to work across several AI use cases across business domains.

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate global AI legislative and regulatory developments and their impact on product and product development.

  • Develop internal processes, guidelines, and policies to support successful operationalization of the AI Ethics principles across the organization.

What you need to succeed:

You’re a creative problem solver who loves to explore and uncover issues. You are joining a fast-paced organization that often requires quick turnarounds, so initiative and efficiency is needed for success in this position.

In terms of specifics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, social science, economics, data science, computer engineering, computer science; graduate or higher degree with research or coursework related to AI ethics; or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven relevant work experience in AI and/or Machine Learning Lifecycle, AI product lifecycle, evaluation design and human computer interaction, especially regarding ethical considerations in AI and ML (Machine Learning).

  • Knowledge of statistical modelling or data analytics concepts.

  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, MatLab, or R.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills and social skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations.

As our many awards will tell you, at Adobe you’ll be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized around the world.
